When your company is formed

• You must appoint your Director(s) and Company Secretary as soon as possible, using Companies House form 288a (supplied with your Formation Pack)
  
  
• If you want to issue more Shares, use Form 88(2). Don't forget, we already transferred 2 to you. Only use the form if you want to issue more.
  
  
• Write the company name in both copies of the Memorandum of Association (see Formation Book).
  
  
• Complete your Share Transfer forms and Share Certificates and keep them safe as part of your records.
  
  
• Record the Director, Secretary and shareholders details in the Statutory Statutory Company Register .

Keep a copy of your 288a forms... you may need to show them to your bank.

Bring your Accountant up-to-date and discuss your plans. If you have dealt with these matters, move on to step five.
