Duport assists many clients to set up their UK bank account. However, this service is designed for non-UK residents. If you are a resident of the United Kingdom, our services cannot improve on the ease with which you can open a bank account yourself just by visiting your local bank(s).

If you are not a UK resident but want your company to have a UK bank account in this country, we are pleased to help.  We take your company documents to the bank so they can confirm the validity of the company registration. We give them any special instructions regarding their requirements.

The bank will then contact you directly to seek ID verification of each Director of the company and any other signatories to the proposed account. They are subject to strict legal obligations that prevent them from opening an account until the necessary proofs have been provided and checked.

Please ensure that your forms 288a (for appointment of Directors) are returned promptly to Companies House as delay in registering your director(s) will slow down the opening of your bank account.
