a fund
raising venture (not a charity) |
This
is a typical example of an objects statement for a fund raising venture,
not registered as a charity **
- To promote
understanding of ......................
-
To advance the care of …..................
-
To vend
products in order to generate income for the cause.
-
To
facilitate the purchase, development and management of a site for
......................
** This might be the trading arm of
a charity because charities are not allowed to "permanently trade",
which implies a product or service that is continuously on sale. Charities
may conduct short-term trading, such as a bring-and-buy sale, but may
not run shops or offer standard priced services.
Don't forget to include a Clause 9 statement.
Here is an example: All earnings over expenditure will be designated
for the purchase, development and management of ................... or
otherwise to pursue the objectives set out in Clause 3. |
