Trustee has the same responsibilities as a Director in a normal “company limited by shares”.

Each Trustee helps to supervise the company and ensure that it operates within the law and within the rules specified by the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the company; this includes the responsibility to ensure that it fulfils the Aims set out in the Memorandum.
